Baku Old Town must be on your itinerary! You can walk around the pretty streets of Baku while enjoying some of the top attractions such as the Maiden Tower and the Palace of Shirvanshahs. You could admire unique architecture and beautiful mosques while learning about the rich history of Azerbaijan.
You could either do it yourself or join a walking tour around the Old Town. There’s a lot to discover in the area as it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You can easily be there for 2-3 hours, so you should get an early start to make the most of Baku’s historical secrets!
24 Hour in Baku Azerbaijan Itinerary #2: Dagustu Park
If you’re planning on admiring the best views found in Baku, you should definitely add Dagustu Park to your itinerary! This is where you will get the best panoramic views of the city.
This is the perfect spot for the photographers out there who would like to snap a picture of the skyline. There’s also a restaurant on-site which means that it would be perfect for a quick lunch or for a snack.
Staying at Dagustu Park for 1 or 2 hours should be enough for you to make the most of the scenery! You can get there via the funicular (which is free of charge) or the stairs.

Did you know you can experience the perfect Italian experience right in Azerbaijan? Yes, there’s a Mini Venice right in Baku. Get in a gondola and enjoy the cruise on the small canals decorated by cute and colorful bridges.
There are a few restaurants in the area and located on the “islands”, so it could be the perfect spot for lunch or for dinner. You could try Azerbaijanian cuisine or try something else as there are different types of cuisine available.
A gondola ride takes around 20 minutes, which shouldn’t take too much of your precious time exploring the capital.

Imagine a trio of flames and you’re almost there! This architectural jewel is worth seeing! It’s not every day we can appreciate these kind of buildings, so why not add it to your itinerary?
They are pretty impressive in the daylight and get even better at night as they light up (and become colorful!). You don’t have to get inside, you could simply appreciate their beauty from the outside.
