Things You Shouldn’t Miss When You’re in Las Vegas

One of the great things about Las Vegas is that there are so many great things to see and do while there. However, because of this, it can lead to people missing out on a couple of things. But, fear not, we’ve devised a list of things you shouldn’t miss when visiting the USA and venturing into Las Vegas, to ensure everything is crammed nicely into the itinerary.

Play at the casinos

Of course, most people visit Sin City so they can enjoy the fantastic casino venues the city has to offer. And believe us, there are loads of them. From the Wynn to the Bellagio, Las Vegas is the world’s most famous gambling hub, and this is a part of what the city has to offer that you just can’t afford to miss out on. But, casinos are far from the be-all and end-all. And let’s face it, they offer similar titles as online roulette games and the like, which are playable at online casinos, freeing visitors to Vegas to explore other great things.

Get a bird’s eye view

The Las Vegas Strip is undoubtedly one of the most iconic places on the planet. But, while being at street level is exciting, there’s nothing finer than getting a bird’s eye view of the Strip when in Sin City. And visitors to the area can do so by checking out places such as the Foundation Room lounge at Mandalay Bay or by visiting the Skypod Observation Deck at the Strat Hotel for those astounding 360-degree views. However, what about taking to the skies for an even better look? Helicopter rides across the Las Vegas night sky are certainly something you shouldn’t miss out on. It’s sure to make for great Instagram content too.

Catch a show

As well as being famous for its casinos, Las Vegas is also the place to be for shows. And, you’re not going to find one type of show, there is a variety, so there is always something for everyone in that respect. Cirque du Soleil, a famous entertainment company, is active in Sin City, putting on great shows all year round. And some of the casino resorts host shows themselves, such as Caesar’s Palace. When you’re in Vegas, you’ll be able to find what’s on, and it’s a must to fit at least one show into the itinerary.

Take a photo in front of the famous sign

Everyone knows that there is the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign towards the south end of the Strip. And, having your picture taken in front of it is something that you just have to do when you’re in Sin City. It’s an iconic landmark, and it’s perfect for the Gram. It’s one of those things that first-timers to Vegas should have at the very top of their to-do list. And, once it’s done, they can concentrate on enjoying what else the city has to offer, such as the things we mentioned above.
